Rural Health Camps are held in remote areas where there are no doctors. This program started in 2006 with funding from the Australian HighCommission in Bangladesh. Since then, 15 Rural Health Camps have successfully provided medical care to thousands of people. These camps are attended by specialist doctors from urban areas. Services include; basic medical care, specialist consultation, minor surgery and follow-up instructions for complicated cases. Also, focus on preventative health is strongly emphasized at these camps.

Hope Foundation for Women and Children of Bangladesh is seeking fundings from individuals or organizations to sponsor rural health camps in different Bangladesh. The cost of each camp is approximately $500. For further information please contact Hope Foundation.
